BluesKing777 Posted May 23, 2018 Share Posted May 23, 2018 Yep, awful, saw it live on Dave when it happened....woke in fright in my chair.....saw Johhny Winter’s last play on the show with one eye barely open. (They use to have it on very late here). It has given me a few ideas for the Monday blues jam night to liven things up! As Chet Atkins said in casual response to Jimi and Pete et al smashing and burning:”Some of those guitars need smashing.” Now I have a Hummingbird copy.....hmmm. I think I would like to spread the smashing or burning out a bit longer...you know, a little ad break and back after with the full swing thing! some of the blues geezers will be sucking their oxygen bottles!
