jaxson50
I just saw a post on FB saying Bucky passed, I have checked out the internet but haven't been able to confirm the claim. Has anyone heard? Edited April 2, 2020 by jaxson50
jdgm
Yes; he was 94 and had been in poor health for some time. https://www.njarts.net/music/legendary-guitarist-bucky-pizzarelli-dies-at-94/ R.I.P. He had a very good run though. And sadly, from the virus: Ellis Marsalis, Wallace Roney (only 59 - great shame), Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne.

Sadly we will see the list get longer very soon,
zigzag
Never heard Bucky, but saw his son, John, several years ago. Sad times, indeed. Fallen jazz guys from Covid: Bucky Pizzarelli, Manu Dibango, Wallace Roney, Ellis Marsalis Jr, Marcelo Peralta, and Mike Longo, to the best of my knowledge. tx-ogre
Sad news. Bucky, John and George Van Epps were a major reason I chose to broaden my horizons and take up playing a 7 string guitar. RIP Bucky
LarryUK
What a great name though. I used to work with a man named Johnny Vinyl. He was a little man with one leg shorter than the other.
