Californiaman
Love the fig jam. So far this season the tomatoes have been great, cucumbers, zucchini, green beens have all been terrific. Waiting on some late season melons and chili peppers. Processed roughly five pounds of mint tea earlier this season. That stuff is good and good for you. uncle fester
I don't have a picture, but we just got a whole bunch of basil, and made pesto out of it... pesto pasta, with garden fresh basil, garlic, and tomatoes - tough to beat that meal! Californiaman
We do basil and oregano along with the mint. The guava trees are almost there. Over the next month we will be eating a lot of strawberry and pineapple guava. Might even make some jelly out of it.
Tman
presbythredia (presby=old age). Hard to imagine anyone harvesting anything now but the rabbits have been having a go at the avos that are still ripening. Luckily they didn't chew on the actual fruit, only the stems because the fruit are very hard. I let this one ripen for 2 weeks and it was perfect and delicious. I present to you, a Pinkerton avocado. Easily identified by it's long neck. Notice the meant to be gourmet looking salt bowl (square really) and the stem of a chardonnay glass. what a treat.
fortyearspickn
Man, That guacamole wanna-be looks perfect. We've tried growing here - but the deer eat the trees before they can get fruit. And then there's the once a year hard freeze. Congrats!

Only a matter of time. Gotta get a fence soon!
