Whitefang
Yeah, Thumbs was great! Remember first seeing him on the old Roger Miler "summer replacement"(remember those?) show in the mid '60's. And add blindness into the mix, and you get this also amazing player! Whitefang

How many do you have, anyway? I only play like my LEFT hand thumb, which only plays when my right thumb gets tired. Whitefang
Retired
My left thumb never plays, just holds the back of the neck while the right thumb helps hold the pick.
MissouriPicker
I use my right hand thumb a lot for picking. I use the left one for fretting the low bass strings. Beyond that, my playing really is “all thumbs.”

Whitefang
I get the "all thumbs" thing. I'm that way when doing any handyman work 'round the house. Two right hands, all thumbs. ( I say two right hands because I'm left handed.) Plus I wind up doing the work of two men! Unfortunately, those two men are LAUREL and HARDY!
