Californiaman
You know when you have a hunch about something. Well I finally Ultimate Tabbed Magic Rooster Blues by Rich and Chris Robbinson and it's in Open F. Yikes, try tuning an already low action stratocaster to Open F—CFCFAC. Wow... what a trip. Rocky4
I picked open G, I don't consider down a half step alternative. It's just an attempt to get more slack.
Homz
I try to avoid alternate tunings, but for "Kashmir" I use the DADGAD.
black_six6
I use Drop C# (C# G# C# F# Bb D#), Drop C (C G C F A D), Drop B (B F# B E G# C#), Drop D, and Eb tuning.
