My daughter shared a recipe she came across to "dress up" that iconic dish. Involves adding fried onions, two additional types of cheese and some frozen peas. 5 hours ago, kidblast said: if you don't put hot dogs in there, you're dead to me... That sounds intriguing too. Cut 'em up I presume. So, how small of pieces do you cut 'em up? And don't worry about Bobby Flay. I understand he's no longer gonna be on The Food Network. Wanted too much money. Whitefang like the rest of these food network schmucks,, they've made fortunes doing what they love doing and it's still not enough for them. he should go back to making frittatas and brunch stuff, and get over himself.

I agree, seems to me the wankers at the food network created their own problems with this, and now they have lost control of it completely. One "celebrity" chef (Anne Burrell) even wrote a cookbook titled "Cook Like A Rock Star". It makes no mentions of any actual rock stars who also cook and any of their recipes. Nowadays, any gleep who does anything well and gets tons of fame for it(regardless if deserved or not) is considered a "rock star". Whitefang it's not exactly rocket science, skills required? yes... but, to some extent it's just overkill.

Thank you for the advice, though. One of my concerns was exactly what you bring up - whether or not just about everything can be repaired properly. And you've answered that question. I was always worried about guitar damage but even though I am not a luthier what I have seen is that they basically treat wood with glues, resins, epoxys and those substances are stronger than the wood grain and used to strengthen it. So cracks and even headstocks off are matter of a good lutheir who can fix it its seemless and just as strong if not stronger. The problem is always finding a finish/paint color to match after you find the good luthier. My advice is try facebook. You see honest reviews on that in your area and see pictures of work they have done. That's how I found mine.
DanvillRob
Guess this thread kinda got "off-topic".... thought I'd share the work of a REAL Luthier!
