Grolsch strap locks.

Yes. I've used actual Grolsch washers and have the Fender versions on a couple of guitars also.

They would be my preferred choice but for one thing. I cant easily remove them, so those straps are permanently attached. Some fellows can wiggle them off and on, but I have osteo arthritis in both thumbs and it hurts too much. That limits what guitars they can be used on as most OHSC dont accomodate guitar+strap.

The plastic tabs from loaves of bread are good too.  Not the twisties, the plastic flat things.

yes, those work too.

IMO, any device/gadget/hack that secures a strap to keep it from popping off is pretty much A-ok in my book.

I've just always gone with the Schaller's or something similar.  But they are not infallible, and you do need to check things out now and then to be sure all is right with them.

I picked up my brother in-laws LP a few weeks ago,  the neck side screw had come loose and was fractions of an inch from popping right out of the screw hole.

"Dude!!!!!  don't you ever check these things"

"uhhmm no........  I really don't"

yea... well start...

Oy Vhey!!

They were like 15 bucks a bottle, right?  Like, the bottle of beer cost as much as a pair of Dunlops.

I don't think they were that much dough but it's  the 16 OZ bottles are the ones with the little rubber washer that everyone uses for a strap lock thingy.
