IanHenry Posted August 19, 2022 Share Posted August 19, 2022 It really comes down to personal choice, I'm pretty sure everyone on here will tell you to play the guitars (if you can) and make your own mind up. The Standard will have more modern features (I'm not sure of the spec of those guitar's, they seemed to change virtually every year). The Traditional will be more like a "normal" Les Paul of yesteryear (it's more like what I think of when I think of a Les Paul), but it will have a significantly chunkier neck and be heavier compared to the Standard's slim profile and (I think) chambered body.
