Everything else too starting with 45s but LPs forever by far the most important to me, even with CDs. We used to love USA imports over here (UK). We'd be the same with British imports. Some available over the river in Windsor, Ont. Canada. Very few record stores here carried 'em. Another album thing---- COVER ART. Much cool cover art is hard to really appreciate on a CD jewel case. Like these favorites.... What 14 year old back then didn't have this one hidden among their record collection? And this Hendrix cover was as cool as the music inside! And Santana took it up a notch. Another adolescent favorite. With good music too. There was also the private enjoyment of bringing that new LP home, carefully taking it out of the cover and lying on the bed reading the liner notes while listening to the new pristine vinyl playing on your "record player". Whitefang I was always partial to the Japanese ones. They were always top shelf.
