Is this the model with the Flake-O-Matic paint job?

No, no such luck, Santa doesn't love me like he used to.

The green one looks a little wonkey on body by the binding and the red one looks a little off by the nut.

Is CJ calling Henry for ideas for guitars. Seems like the same old same old.

I'd replace those white knobs with white dice if I had that Martin.

Have you ever seen any of Martin's real electric guitars?  Woof.

I think the mom and pop store I used to go to in Glouchester, VA had one many years back when I went in to get strings. I always though they looked like something Jerry Garcia would play circa 1974 or so, and stick a wolf sticker on.

So you're saying that someone at Martin should have their head examined?

If they did that - then absolutely. Don't get me wrong I would take it if given to me, and then I would sell it for all its worth, and get 4 or 5 nice used ones without electronics on them.

Fun fact: This 1959 Martin D-18E once sold at auction for 6 million.

Hey let's F-Up really nice acoustic guitars with c-rap it never needed in the first place. I hope Jim Irsay enjoys it. Both my D-18's were just acoustic. What a loser I am.

In the description, it says there are "minor imperfections to the finish", so maybe that's the reason. (they look weird, but probably sound great, like normal ones.)

That is why I posted it. Not about the imperfections, but the ridiculous finish choices. Pajama Guitar. Come on.

I want one that has "Hello, Gibby!" painted on the front.

Does anyone here own, or know of anyone who owns, an olive drab Gibson?

Anyone own or will fess up that they bought a neon green or pink J-45?

There was one in the Les Paul Owners group on Facebook the other day. It was an LP Special with p90s. To me, they look beautiful in almost any color (except for pajama or polkadot finishes). 😁

Friends also don't let friends buy blue guitars.

We can make some small exceptions, though. When one has a Tobacco Burst LP, a cherry ES, maybe a Vintage burst J45, and a natural Martin D28, you are allowed a blue Strat or LP Special. I could live with that! 😎

My best friend has a thing for Pelhem Blue. He owns a few in that color. As his friend I don't have the heart to tell him they look like what I see on the back side of my dog as she walks in front of me.

I will also will never own a Martin does not have a natty top. Martin has no buisness painting the tops of their guitars. I will give one exception for one guitar and one guy. Johnny Cash's all black D-35. Johnny must play an all black guitar (period).
