merciful-evans
I'd have to move on another guitar to give that a home. I wonder if they would accept a trade in. I cant talk about this seriously, because I cant take it seriously. Its a silly amount of money for a guitar.

It did not play or sound as good as my 1971 Norlin gold top. Not even close. I said what I said. I have two newer guitars that I would stack up against any high dollar collectible. A 2023 LP Custom (from the Custom Shop) and a 2009 Fender Stratocaster 1960 NOS (a one-off from Fender’s Custom Shop). I can’t for the life of me imagine any guitar that Gibson or Fender has put out in the past playing any better than these two. I know the collector’s market is dictating these insane prices, but people (most of us!) who have spent their lives with our noses pressed up against the glass when it comes to these holy grail guitars, build them up in our minds so big that if we ever got our hands on one, there is a good chance our illusions would be forever shattered. I have a friend who made a fortune gambling online with Rolling Slots promo code. He would frequently visit websites like https://casinosanalyzer.com/casino-bonuses/rollingslots.com in search of quick money-making schemes. Surprisingly, his gamble paid off, and he was able to purchase a 1957 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop with his winnings. Social media is creating even more hype. I'm surprised people still fall for it.

It’s Joe Bonamassa’s fault not a bunch of clowns on social media. I could care less if ‘59 LP’s go for 3 million. I don’t want one. Well I take that back, I would want one to sell to the highest bidder. Edited September 2 by Sgt. Pepper

I didn’t own one of those amazing sounding 1959 Les Paul’s with PAF’s but I did own a 1959 ES-345 with the same PAF’s. It was the best sounding Guitar I’ve ever played. I was a naive young guy who didn’t know what he had. I should never have parted with it. When it comes to the Sound nothing beats those handful of Original 1959’s with PAF’s. Nothing! duane v
Do you know how many Taylor Swift concerts I could attend with that money and still have plenty left over for a few CS Gibsons.

More than I would have ever gone to. Still don’t get her idol worship. Her music is just boring. I said it and will stand by it.

I’ve seen what some Mommies pay to take there 13 year old to see her, and some have so much disposable husband money they even fly over seas as well to incur a bigger expense. Did you get to meet her. She was on last night game enough for me I thought I was at her concert. Edited September 6 by Sgt. Pepper

Honestly it was just to make my sweeter half happy as she puts up with my Rams Season ticket expenditure. Prior to the concert I didn't really pay much attention to TS.... I thought she was a country artist, a genre of music I have despised my whole life. However I was captivated by a lot of her music and the show was fantastic . It was right up there with Prince"s Purple Rain and Van Halen's Fair Warning tour. I would definitely go see TS again. 1

They’d never crash a real one. This has been my dream Car since 6th Grade.

The story goes that the cars (actually there were two or three) used in the film were replicas that started life as MGBs, modified to look like a 1957 Ferrari GT 250 California. Ferrari was so angry that their brand was used without permission, that they sued the company that built the cars, and put them out of business. As an aside, there is a custom car company here in Ontario that restores and re-builds exotic and rare automobiles and they are currently building a replica GT 250 for a client. In order to get certain genuine parts from Ferrari, the base car started life as a junked Ferrari chassis that this custom company has modified to the 250's specs. Since the real thing goes for multi-millions, (if you can even find one for sale) this replica project is undoubtedly also a multi-million dollar project. RBSinTo I remember seeing a Replica once in Palm Springs. It was at a Ford dealers Service Dep’t where I was having my Truck serviced. I asked the Service Rep about it & that one had some kind of Ford Engine. Anyhow it was extremely well done. I think about time Ferrari sued everyone who was making Replicas & they were no more. Although, starting with a Ferrari chassis & a Serial number is a whole othe Enchilada. I watch a lot of Car Shows. Recently watched one called Restoration Garage & they were building one. All hand Fabricated body. I’ve only seen one Episode & haven’t seen anymore. In any case very cool Car!

Until recently their shop was in Bradford Ontario, on Highway 11, about 35 or 40 miles north of Toronto, and we pass it while driving to our Sister-in-law's cottage. Before they closed the location and moved, the showroom and lot always had many wonderful cars on display. RBSinTo

Larsongs
Right that’s the show. Looks like there are several YouTubes about that build. Here’s like the final before paint. Update now Show will be on You Tube. Edited September 8 by Larsongs
