The Mick
Eye don't live in a trailer park.. Is an RV park considered a trailer park it is an actual trailer after all. And don't forget Al Gore warned us all of the Man Bear Pig so give him that at least.
heymisterk
Eye don't live in a trailer park...I do read and enjoy FACTS though...you should study up on the issue too...or continue to live in your pre-constructed socialist fantasy land where Algore is president and is known for his scientific prowess. I can always count on KSG and Neo to know more than 99% of the LEGITIMATE scientific community. Conservatives don't agree with anything that interferes with their Bat Guano outlook on life. heymisterk
Watch "Dr. Strangelove", the classic Stanley Kubrick film. Whenever KSG or Neo or Californiaman post something, I picture that character. I can't find a picture of him on the web; perhaps someone can do it, post it, and get a gold star.

The Mick
Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn't that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?

Bruno690
When I was in elementary school we were being tought that we were enterring another ice age and that by the year 2000, there wouldn't be enough farm land to support the population. Read these articles: "Another Ice Age?" (Time, 1972) “The Cooling World”(Newsweek, 1975) “Scientists Ask Why World Climate Is Changing: Major Cooling May Be Ahead” (The New York Times, 1975) From Gerald Marsh (retired physicist from the Argonne National Laboratory and a former consultant to the Department of Defense on strategic nuclear technology and policy in the Reagan, Bush, and Clinton Administration): There were very few Ice Ages until about 2.75 million years ago when Earth’s climate entered an unusual period of instability. Starting about a million years ago cycles of ice ages lasting about 100,000 years, separated by relatively short interglacial perioods, like the one we are now living in became the rule. Before the onset of the Ice Ages, and for most of the Earth’s history, it was far warmer than it is today. Indeed, the Sun has been getting brighter over the whole history of the Earth and large land plants have flourished. Both of these had the effect of dropping carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere to the lowest level in Earth’s long history. Five hundred million years ago, carbon dioxide concentrations were over 13 times current levels; and not until about 20 million years ago did carbon dioxide levels dropped to a little less than twice what they are today. It is possible that moderately increased carbon dioxide concentrations could extend the current interglacial period. But we have not reached the level required yet, nor do we know the optimum level to reach. So, rather than call for arbitrary limits on carbon dioxide emissions, perhaps the best thing the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the climatology community in general could do is spend their efforts on determining the optimal range of carbon dioxide needed to extend the current interglacial period indefinitely. NASA has predicted that the solar cycle peaking in 2022 could be one of the weakest in centuries and should cause a very significant cooling of Earth’s climate. Will this be the trigger that initiates a new Ice Age? We ought to carefully consider this possibility before we wipe out our current prosperity by spending trillions of dollars to combat a perceived global warming threat that may well prove to be only a will-o-the-wisp. Since everyone says there is no debate...here is new information. http://westinstenv.org/palbot/2008/10/30/global-cooling-is-here-evidence-for-predicting-global-cooling-for-the-next-three-decades/ http://www.spaceandscience.net/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/ssrcpressrelease12009.doc
DrJustice
Since everyone says there is no debate... Indeed. Where I live, the leaders of our "democracy" has been on telly, angry, red faced, screaming that we aren't allowed to debate it... You should be more careful with posts like that, or the inquisition may come to get you ;) DJ --
