DAS44 Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 An earthquake near american samoa registered at 8.3 on the richter scale caused tsunami warnings across the pacific ocean. the earthquake that caused the tsunami in 2004 was 30-40% stronger than this one (according to NBC news).
