Twiz Posted December 8, 2009 Share Posted December 8, 2009 The first time I saw Pantera was 1994 at Metropol in Pittsburgh. It was a small club with 2 levels. -The upstairs was for over 21 and the ground floor was all ages. During an encore (they were playing F***ing Hostile) someone jumped from the upper level down into the pit in front of the stage. That cemented for me the power that Dimebag's riffs had over people. He was amazing to watch. I had never seen anyone like him. I sincerely think that seeing Dimebag play invoked the same feelings of awe and excitement in me, as previous generations experienced when seeing a player like Jimi Hendrix. RIP Dimebag.
