NeoConMan
Stealer's Wheel recorded the original. Great song. Always liked that one - then I saw the Tarantino movie Reservoir Dogs. Kinda changed the way I thought about the song after that psycho Michael Madsen did his little dance... EDIT: That was Gerry Rafferty, the smooth Welshman (or Scot?) crooner with the mellow vibe. He later did the smoothest, most mellow, seventies easy-listening song ever to have a ripping guitar solo. Baker Street. Still one of my all time favorite Les Paul showpieces. RichCI
Ha ha! I love that movie! And, admittedly, whenever I hear that song I think of that scene.
