jamman
There are many groups we don't hear much about anymore. I saw them live in about 1972 in NYC And if i recall correctly (my memory is hazzy about those years) they were the under bill for James Gang. That was a great night. Real Rock & Roll. rocketman
Wow, that's pulling out an oldie! Oh how I long for those simpler days. Just get your axes out and play. It was that simple but it worked so well for bands like this. Smokin'...
Laaz
I think Carmine Appice holds the record for being in the most bands of all time. Great band.

Californiaman
Before you joined the forum Duane, we had some killer Humble Pie videos posted here. Maybe we can post them again for you. If I remember correctly, Shakey Jake was one of them. The other was Natural Born Woman

Shnate McDuanus
Hell yeah! A big :- for Cactus, Humble Pie, Vanilla Fudge, etc.! One of my favorites has always been Frijid Pink And (I hope nobody makes fun of me for this) Blue Cheer. I generally tend to include Blue Cheer, Frijid Pink, Toe Fat, CCR, Canned Heat, and Free (and a few other groups) into this sort of category--really stripped-down, heavy blues-rock. I like the way Rocketman described it. Just get your axes out and play. It was that simple but it worked so well for bands like this. Smokin'... Awesome.
