MisterGibs
This is the first performance of M-R GIBS (a Gibson Acoustic SJ 200 Custom Elite equipped with a L.R. Baggs M1 soundhole pickup) with a real band (the name of the band is "Ditry purchase"). I admit that I am nervous and I don't feel very easy next to the band, so forgive me the lack of experience and self confidence
onewilyfool
Mr. Gibbs....I understand exactly what you are going through. My second open mic, I had some solo performances lined up, not realizing that other musicians were going to join in. SO, it was trial by fire.....I'm sure you will do just fine.....sounds great by the way....even at rehersal!!

The band seemed competent, and you sounded great. After viewing this, what will you do different next time?

Buc McMaster
Excellent, Krassi! You and the SJ200 belong on the stage. Where was the performance? Auditorium? Club? Private gathering? Is that the only tune you did with the band?
MisterGibs
The gig was on the big stage in s casino in "Albena" - this is a summer ressort on the Black Sea side. Every year my company makes there a big conference of Homeopathy and this year my boss invited this band ("Dirty purchase" is their name, and the lead guitar player is a star in Bulgaria - here is a link to a very new album of the other band - FSB.- where he ususaly plays: http://music.fsb.bg/album/fsb-2). So my boss said: "You are going to play on stage in the gala evening" I said: "... wall, hmmm, is it a good idea boss, my music is totally different etc..." But he said: "I want you on stage!" And this is the result. I have never performed with that band before. Even we had no rehersal.

Gilliangirl
That is really really impressive!!!! I was enjoying listening to the video so much that I didn't want to hit the REPLY button and stop the music. Wow! That is one of the advantages of buying a professional guitar. If you start doing stuff like this, you don't have to upgrade because you already own a professional guitar. You sounded awesome and so did Mr GIBS. Well done Krasi! <applause>

I knew that my M-R GIBS will take me to higher stages, and now I am sure that this is just the beginning. The lead guitar player you see in the video is the most sucsessive rock guitarist in my country for all times. When I was very young he was one of my guitar idols... I was lucky to play with him that night. And he confirmed my words that this SJ 200 - my M-R GIBS is the only one SJ 200 in Bulgaria! Lately I am focused on my own songs. M-R GIBS plays a key role in my own music - he is a co-author. He is litteraly "showing me things" when I make a song of mine. Me and him - we start to be famous here in my country. Vanity... :-({|= We're just climbin'.....
