recsec Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Traded my Epi LP custom Silverburst for an Epi Alleykat. It is a really nice guitar. It has a wide variety of sounds, from an almost P-90 sound on the neck mini humbucker to a rich jazzy sound in the middle and then a nice growl on the bridge. Dub-T-123 Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 If I remember correctly the AlleyCat has some crazy t-shaped plate that screws on to the face of the headstock. I think it actually looks better without it. You can just take a Sharpie and blacken the holes so that they don't stick out so much when you look at it.
