Californiaman
slip through my fingers this week. I've been looking for one of the Fender '57 Deluxe Amps. The one Surf Pup owns. Limited to just 300 made and sold world wide. Well my wife tells me after the fact, you should have bid on it. It sold for $1,200.00 on Ebay. Solid maple cabinet. Piano lacker finish. Celestion Blue Alnico. Same circuit as the 57 Deluxe. This baby not only roars, but screams classy amplifier. Some of you might know this beauty. Here's a picture for you. Murph
A little off topic, but I saw a beat to crap Vibro King in a store a few months ago and it haunted me so I went back and it was gone. Sometimes ya just gotta flip out the plastic and think later, eh?
djroge1
I was at a local music go round and they had 2 old Fender Bassman amps (not sure of year). I'm betting at least one of them are gone.
Californiaman
Calif. There is one for sale here in Boise on CL http://boise.craigslist.org/msg/1805772655.html If I lived in Boise or Eagle, I'd probably consider buying it. $2,000 is a little rich for my blood though. I could justify paying $1,700 but not more than that. One will pop up sooner or later. Oh, in my original post I said Surf Pup owned one. It probably was retrosurfer who owns one. My mistake.
