Epiphone didn't make guitars overseas until gibson takeover, which happened pst-WWII. Also, the logo, TRC, and general feel isn't any epi I know about. JefferySmith
I've seen a head like that on some limited edition Epiphones that came out about 8 years ago. Some guy was trying to pass it off as an Elitist on ebay last week. It was something like an Epiphone Extreme Nuclear Crackle Finish atrocity. RotcanX can chime in here. He has seen some of the Epis with this headstock as well.
dubstar
definitely an epiphone...let's see the body...not 1921, however...that's a serial # reader glitch, either on your end or it doesn't recognize the number series yet...
daneman
It looks like one of the short lived E series from a while back. how about posting a pic of the entire guitar?

RotcanX
Yup. It's already been pointed out that the GDP is not 100% reliable... and most of the stuff it does get right you could figure out yourself anyway.

Bender 4 Life
Its most likely made in the CHINESE year 1921. which I believe would translate to our early to mid 1990's They don't use our calendar.
