Whitmore Willy Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 Memphs, I haven't played any of the current ones. I have a friend (yes, you read it here first) that has a "64"double cutaway. True, it has the small Gibson head stock. But, he has modded his to a double pickup. (it was single) I have to say it is a nice playing guitar. Love the neck and his sounds great. The best of the three M/M's were worse than the worst of the least priced Epi's. The Gibson had a crappy finish, tuners, pickups... I'm just glad i didn't get one.
