Cherry Dot on the way...

The boss, (you know who that is) said "go ahead and order it". Well, my b-day is next week so I ordered a Cherry Dot 335. There was one here in town, but the finish was kind of blah. The one in the pic on Sweetwater's site had nice grain showing through the finish. It's supposed to be the actual guitar. So, in a few days I'll have the report on it.....

Nice. After that blue Dot that Barrysrq posted, I'm starting to gas heavily for another Dot. And not a black one. I do like that Sweetwater posts pics of the actual guitar. If Musician's Friend did that, I'd prolly have bought a VSB Casino from them by now.

Post pics or it doesn't exist...

Did you note the serial number to make sure, John?

Congrats also. I'd love one of those babies myself.

In my experience, Sweetwater always send you the guitar you ordered in the photograph. So don't worry John, just look forward to your new guitar.

When I lived in the US for a year or so, I found Sweetwater and American Musical Supply to be by far and away the best online music companies.

I know Cherry is the correct colour for a Dot so I bought a black one. I got it to match my Les Paul Standard, like anything else black (cars etc) it is a task to keep clean and you cannot hide scratches - but I love it. All my guitars are solid colours but I like to think one day I wil find a nice burst out there.

You ordered the one I had in my Sweetwater shopping cart!! And it was the last one!! Cause now it says its not in stock. You bought it out from under me!! Dammit!

Actually....... I don't have the $$ for it right now anyway.

Congrats! I hope it arrives to you safe and sound and you're able to enjoy it for many years to come! : )
