ciao ragazzi!! avrei bisogno di un aiuto,in particolare dagli esperti sui modelli Explorer.

 

dunque...ho un amico che da svariati anni,tipo 15/20,ha una Explorer che non usa ed io sarei intenzionato a convincerlo

a vendermela.

solo che e' un modello particolare:manico e paletta sono quelli classici dell'explorer,ma ha il body leggermente piu'

piccolo ed ha un solo PU.

 

sapete dirmi se e' un modello che magari la Gibson ha fatto per un breve periodo?

...e magari quale potrebbe essere il suo valore,considerando che le condizioni della chitarra sono ottime.

si,son sicuro.....o almeno sono sicuro di questa persona,siamo molto amici da una vita,abbiamo suonato molto insieme...

se poi e' un tarocco allora mi sa che hanno fregato anche lui anni fa quando l'ha comprata;pero' il logo mi sembra originale....vedo se riesco ad andare da lui e gli faccio qualche foto

sinceramente spero che sia un modello particolare di Explorer Gibson,altrimenti se son sicuro che e' stata

modificata non ne faccio di niente;

meglio a quel punto una EXP anche non Gibson,ma comunque originale

Epiphone dovebbe aver fatto qualcosa del genere, "Epiphone Explorer GT" mi pare.

Comunque questa cosa del body ridotto con 1 solo pu non mi è nuova, dovrei fare mente locale.

Francamente - ma è parere personalissimo - propenderi per una X ortodossa.

La Gibson fece, negli anni '80 e '90, modelli particolari di Explorer.

Varie serie, ecco...le varie designer con disegni strani, le E2 e simili con body sagomati, topi in acero, finiture particolari etc.

Purtroppo io non ho dei modelli o schede tecniche, però qualche foto sarebbe d aiuto.

 

Se avesse il body piccolo e due humbucker direi "Explorer Pro", ma ha un pickup solo, a quanto dici... :-k

Bisognerebbe capire se il body è solamente più piccolo ma mantiene le classiche proporsioni di una explorer o se la forma è un pò differente, tipo quella della foto di Nitro. Comunque non ho ricordi di Explorer Gibson fatte in quella maniera ma tutto può essere.

The gibson korina is very similar to the original 1958 gibson explorer model and is highly collectible , the guitar had gold knobs , nashville tune o matic bridge , korina body and neck , 2 humbuckers , 8 digit serial numbers and were available in candy apple red , natural or ivory finishes .

 

 

Gibson Explorer 83 ( 1983 to 1989 )

 

In 1983 gibson introduced a gibson explorer that had an alder body and was referred to as the gibson explorer 83 . The Guitar had 2 humbuckers , maple neck , ebony fingerboard , 22 fret dot inlays , triangular knob patterns and chrome plated hardware . Discontinued in 1989 .

The gibson explorer III had 2 p-90 pickups , 2 knobs , 2 selector switches , maple neck , rosewood fingerboards , chrome plated hardware, locking nut vibrato system optional , and were made in red white or camouflage finishes . They also made some explorer III models with black hardware and kahler vibrato systems in 1985 .

Aldilà del valore (che non si sa quanto ne avrà in futuro, immagino poco), Le chitarre con singolo pickup al ponte non mi servono.

Mi piacerebbe la Korina "reissue" dell'82, una Explorer dell'83-'84 e la Heritage. Ma guarda che prezzi [crying]

per un progetto che sto metendo su,e la EXP come linea mi e' sempre piaciuta,quindi se spendo poco questa farebbe al caso mio.

mah,a me servirebbe una chitarra da accordare in SI per farci un unico suono,molto scuro e pesante,

per un progetto che sto metendo su,e la EXP come linea mi e' sempre piaciuta,quindi se spendo poco questa farebbe al caso mio.

io droppai la SG in C# con le zakk wilde 10/60, ma non mi teneva l'accordatura allora ho portato in B il drop, ed era gia meglio, e con l'ampli che uso era letteralmente una detonazione!! B)
