Sure it looks nicer and has new features, but I can't even upload any friggin pictures any more cause every single one is to big! Even the ones I took on my cell phones piece of sh!t camera are to big! What the heck Gibson Forum!?

That sounds a bit odd.

 

If you look at some of the snaps posted in the picture threads they are so big they don't fit the screen as it is.

 

What size of images are you trying to post, Nikko? (I've found roughly 500x750 pixels is pretty much perfect).

 

Do you have any image re-sizing software?

I don't have a problem with pictures I shoot raw & they seem to be the same size. I like the new style especially on my phone.

But, surely, you must use some sort of conversion software - such as Capture 1 or CS 5? The site won't accept RAW files, will it? (when I process out a RAW file it's 45meg and that's a tad too big for uploading!).

Not having any problems. ........If a pic is too big, then resize it. They've got plenty of bandwith on this site and it doesn't cost us a penny.

I convert from raw before I add pictures to photo bucket.

I upload anything to IMGUR.com, and never fool with converting/sizing, etc.

 

Works great.

I haven't had any media issues....seems pretty fine to me. :)
