The biggest hands I think I ever saw on any neck..including Horror movies..

 

I was fortunate to spend some time with Tal in the guitar studio I taught at..tough gig..with guys like this visiting..and I was 17. Cures stage fright..QUICK

Ear for solo lines

Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Philip Catherine, Bireli Lagrene, Angelo Debarre, Tchavolo Schmitt, Moreno, Romane, etc... and all the youngsters like Lage Lund, Jonathan Kreisberg, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Adam Rogers, Wayne Krantz... so many great guitar players we tend to forget... but that's same with jazz [crying]

Total solo. Other vids show faster pickin' by this guy; even pickin' a Fender.

 

But... bass lines, leads, all alone... Somewhere on youtube also there's one where he talked about when he started goin' solo this way... finger pickin'...

 

I personally find it much less "dated" than a lotta Wes M.
