Nic
I found this ad on our local Craig's List. Not sure what this guy is thinking. He's trying to sell a 2006 Epiphone Elitist 12 string Riviera for $300 more than he paid for it. http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/msg/1995175540.html

brianh
Well they are damn near impossible to come by, supply and demand and all that. Someone may be willing to pay it, although for the same coin you could probably get a Rickenbacker 360 12-string: http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-RIC-36012-LIST?SRC=D0407FG0HAMS0000&utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=feed&

Gordy01
His sales manner does seem to need a brush up.
Fantana
If I was going to buy a 12-string riviera,(which I will one day), I'd buy this one:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-1968-Gibson-made-Epiphone-Riviera-XII-string-/250608190641?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item3a596984b1 GAS? bigneil
A guitar is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If it is a rarity or a modern classic perhaps someone would happily buy it? However his sales patter is not confidence inspiring ... even if someone wanted that guitar and was willing to pay a high price, they would be put off by his shitty attitude. Yup, he Crazy
Nic
"Yep, his is WE thinx"... and rather unfriendly, it seems. Based on the AD, hope he gets stuck with it! But, maybe in DETROIT, being rude is one of the "social graces"? Hey, I'm from Detroit and I'm nice, sort of.
Supersonic
If I was going to buy a 12-string riviera,(which I will one day), I'd buy this one:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-1968-Gibson-made-Epiphone-Riviera-XII-string-/250608190641?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item3a596984b1 GAS? More power to ya, but if I spend over 2 grand on a guitar, I highly doubt that it will be something from eBay.
Hungrycat
Elite/Elitists have actually appreciated in value, as have most discontinued Japanese made guitars from the last 30 years.
