RaSTuS
I haven't taken my own photos of this thing yet, these are from the fleebay listing. For a no name chinese instrument I've gotta say this thing is da' bomb. Looks awesome with a spalted top and trans cherry finish, despite what it looks like, the stripe down the centre is actually natural finish over a beautiful maple (i think) section that has the grain running across the top (rather than down it). Thankfully it sounds great as it looks, it has the old style wiring where in the centre pos the volumes act as blend pots rather than defeating both pups when you roll of on only one of the volume pots. The photos are a bit misleading, it has no Crown or Logo inlays on the headstock so I'm able to please myself how that will finally appear. It also has black speed knobs rather than the knurled gold tele style ones.

animalfarm
It's gorgeous, AND unique looking with that center strip. I CANNOT make out the Brand/MFR, though. Was curious. Any Idee as to the YEAR? Pup info - WHO made 'em? Resistance Values? There's a link in the Epi Lounge "DIY" Thread on how to measure resistance with pups still in guitar, in the "Pickup Info Section", but I'll just link you straight there to save time: "How to read Pickup Values while pups STILL in Guitar, and MORE!!!" - http://forum.gibson.com/index.php/topic/47933-how-to-read-pickup-winding-values-while-pups-still-in-guitar-and-more/

I used a 6" Hosa pedal board cable for the tests and got: Neck = 7.32k Mid = 4.76k Bridge = 13.68 When I first plugged it in the bridge sounded weak, I had a good look and noticed the neck pup was closer to the strings than the bridge, adjusted the bridge closer and the bloody thing came to life with a roar. I was well pleased.

RaSTuS
Thats a real beauty! Very nice looking guitar. So what brand is it? No brand, headstock is barren, might make it a RaSTaBilly or Red Rocket or Red RaSTuS. Just gotta a new plunger router attachment for my Dremel, could be time to learn inlay technique. hahahaha

midiman56
That git looks HOT! If she plays/sounds as good as she looks, you have a real winner there. Congrats! By the way, I vote for "Rastscaster"! Here, use this to make your headstock decal: Jim

RaSTuS
You should make a thread about and show us all of them The most complete online pic library I have is photobucket.com/albums/tt311/RaSTuS26/Guitar%20Collection/. It's nowhere near complete, and many of the photos are from the listings I purchased from, I will eventually take my own pics of them all and update or create a new photobucket album. Once complete I'll create a new thread pointing to the pics.
