ChanMan
/chuckle Here's my hard hat... the only place my hair can fly is out the occulars.... And while I would LOVE a cup of coffee, I'm diabetic and will have to pass on the cookies, BigKahuna. Milo- you and your "advanced 19th century technology...." <BG> I've got friends that do the medieval reenactment, 18th century AND 19th century reenactment. Where they find the closet space, I'll never know! I'm gonna have to say this: My hair is a PITA to take care of. I do miss my buzz cut...
milod
Chanman... You're right on about the closet space! Yeah, 19th Century tech is pretty neat really. Especially photography. A buddy does wet plate. I think people don't realize that our guitars as we know them came out of that burst of technology and expansion following a war that affected the most Americans percentagewise ever. BTW, You reminded me. Gotta get the saber and saber belt outa the Jeep. m
NeoConMan
If you aren't directly, your daugher, girlfried, etc. are. Warms my heart too. Hey Neo.................don't you have a mullet? No. Just sayin................. B)
ChanMan
I look at her as a Octo-Woman with a decent face and knows who the Baby daddy is...... Other than that I know nothing about her or the dude she is divorcing. She was in the news this past week because 2 or 3 of the kids were expelled from school due to anti-social activities. My question is where the hell is she getting enough cash to not only feed, cloth and house those children and to afford private schools. Just hope I am not supporting that crap. Relax, you aren't. She's paid to do the TV show. Probably more than you and I both. /sigh
NeoConMan
If you aren't directly, your daugher, girlfried, wife, etc, are. The money they get from TV comes from the products advertised in the commercials. If the lady in your life is spending money on some worthless crap, that's one thing. If it's worthless crap advertised during that unfortunate woman's broadcast, she's lining Kate's pockets. The show succeeds, and we see more of the same on EVERY DAMNED CHANNEL. Don't even get me started on the last to fall, The Learning Channel(TLC), A&E, Nat Geo, Discovery... There's nothing normal left - even on the cable/satellite outlets. As far as the haircut thing, women are constantly f-ing with their hair anyway so that money is already spent.
Jeff-7
I remember when the History Channel had actual history and MTV had music. TV just isn't worth watching anymore.
charlie brown
Which is exactly why I don't have "TV," per se. I do own a Television, and it's hooked up, to a DVD player. There is no antenna, cable, or Dish, hooked up to it, at all, currently. Any "news" I need, I get on the computer. TV, with it's 100's of channels, has nothing worthwile to watch, and way too much advertising/brainwashing, for me...most of the time. So, I just don't watch it! NeoConMan
CB, considering dumping DirecTV myself. What web outlets are there for "TV" per se? I haven't really looked into it. My favorites programmed into D-TV has been whittled down to Fox, CNN, MSDNC, etc along with VH1 Classic. Throw in History, Discovery, Military, etc - documentaries - and I'm done. Few movies, fewer sports. I'm hanging on by a thread, and I've been a Sat customer since 1997.
nikko18
I had long hair for the past few years. I just cut it off about a month ago after a LONG time of debating about it. I like how it looks short and it is easier in some ways. But I'm growing it out again. Short's just not my thing. Me about six months ago. Long hair. Me now. nikko18
Maybe I should grow it out and then get it cut medium length int he front and then buzzed up the back. I bet it would make me look a lot younger.

nikko18
Funny... I was gonna say you're one of those rare individuals who look "rock and roll" either way, nikko! Well thank you ChanMan. You are a gentleman and a scholar! I think the same thing, it's probably the sideburns that do it. But I prefer the long hair look. .... Although, it's harder to see the sideburns with long hair. Unless it's pulled back that is.
