Sinner 13
Not the greatest band ever, but one of my personal favorites. I can relate to a lot of what Mike Ness has to say about life. That and the straight forward no nonsense guitar work. Just makes for good Rock & Roll. That and I have been considering turning the 56RI into a Mike Ness Tribute. Windmills Optional
Yep, good stuff. I've seen them a couple of times, once in a triple bill with Neil Young and Crazy Horse and Sonic Youth. That was a pretty good (and loud) night.

Californiaman
White Light, White Heat, White Trash, released in 1996 is a good album. One of my favorites. I know they're coming to Ventura soon. Always a good time at a Social D' show.

I own all the albums and like them all equally, even prison bound. Sex Love And Rock &roll IMHO is his best writing to date.
EVOL!
Just adding that Social D is ace. Mike Ness' collection of seventies Les Pauls makes me pine for one. I played a seventy three with mini humbuckers once. Fell in love with the neck before I even picked a note.

Yeah I REALLY want a 73 GT (the year i was born) for my 40th birthday, just need to get the wife on it now. She almost choked when I told her how much they are. brundaddy
I get them, I do -- but I'm not a fan. Most of the tunes sound too similar to me (and I love early AC/DC). Ness did a solo album that was better than the SD material IMO. They have a devoted following for sure.
scoTT la rock
hell yeah! ive been a fan since 1986! another state of mind is one of the greatest music documentaries of all time and what got me into the punk scene in the first place. they have been able to grow with time and remain relevant. A+ all the way...
