canon_mutant Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 Like to brag on Joe since he's a fellow Wichitan but mainly cuz, like I've said before on other threads, he's made every one he's touched in the industry better especially including the bands he's played in. The Eagles for example were good without him. But look at the influence he made immediately after he joined even improving I think dramatically some of their pre-Joe songs. And the James Gang without Walsh may well have just been a bar band. etc. blah yadda. And then the guy gets the Eagles to actually play Wichita on their reunion tour even though they were packing much larger arenas and yet they played for over 3 hours with a couple of breaks of course playing a couple of extra Walsh tunes I didn't see on the concert footage from Sidney.
