L5Larry
D'Addario EXL110 Nickel Wound 11's The EXL110 are 10's. The EXL115 is the 11's set, which is what I use on my 345. Next time I order a batch of La Bella strings for my jazzboxes, I'm going to get some La Bella EL-BH 12-52 to try on my 345.
Dennis G
I've been using Elixir Nano's (10's) on most of my electrics. I use D'Addario EXL115 11's on my Gretsch 5122 only because my setup guy recommended that string and the heavier gauge. My fallback on the Elixir's are Cleartones. Both last quite a while. jt335
I like the Gibson Brite Wires nickel plated on my ES-335, .010-.046. I just ordered Gibson Vintage Reissue strings to try out, also .010-.046. They are pure nickel. Along with that I ordered a couple of .011 single strings to see if it helps with the high E slipping of the fret ends. We'll see how it goes.
