Kimbabig Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Sound Clip to Follow It may be one hell of a pedal, but the tone is heavenly
Silenced Fred Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 I have been looking at boosts and ODs... lemme know how this one works out
SG FAN Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 I've heard good things about Analog Man pedals. I'm GASing for the Beano Boost, a Dallas Rangemaster treble boost clone.
Kimbabig Posted March 5, 2011 Author Posted March 5, 2011 Demo Please excuse my sloppy playing, especially when I'm the yellow channel duting a whole lotta love
Kimbabig Posted March 5, 2011 Author Posted March 5, 2011 Holy Schnit! I can use this thing as a boost on my other distortion pedals! and it adds absolutely no feedback!!!!!!!!!!! I am in love.
WahKeen Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 I thought this thread was about me..... Dang, I must be vain.... Actually, that's a tight sounding pedal. And funny, yesterday I began hearing in my head Limelight, out of the blue. Then started playing it later... Nice acquisition!
Dub-T-123 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Dang those big knobs on the top are sweet. Nice pedal. If I robbed your house, the KoT would be the first pedal that I'd grab. I'd throw the DS-1 at your head.
Kimbabig Posted March 5, 2011 Author Posted March 5, 2011 . I'd throw the DS-1 at your head. I can't blame you.
Dub-T-123 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 You should try putting the KoT before your Big Muff. Big Muffs react well to a drive/ boost. You also might want to try moving your buffered pedals (Boss pedals) after the KoT and other drive/ fuzz. Sometimes it won't make a difference but if your pedal is picky it can totally change the sound.
