I sat about an hour with him at the Electric Factory up in Phillytown long time ago when he was like, 16 and his band was opening for Gregg Allman and Friends in between marathon stretches of freshly re-formed Allmans touring. Derek was very nice, and suffered my insufferable grilling as to having Betts as an Uncle, we at least agreed that one of us had the best guitar player EVER over for dinner many nights a week. And Uncle Butch, lots about Butch, hardest working man in show business to me, until he fired the aforementioned and then I hated the Allmans still do the end. rct Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
