LP_Studio_FTW
Hi guys, I've been thinking, this could be a nice summer project-> Saga TC-10 guitar kit http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2334/2370275692_b756f466ff.jpg All parts are included but bad thing is that tuners aren't that good and you can't expect much from stock pickups that come in a $120 guitar set. There are also LP, SG and Strat models but LP looks awful because cutaway has nothing to do with real LP (http://www.guitarpartsusa.com/ccp51/media/images/product_detail/LP-10.jpg) and I just like Telecaster... Any opinions, suggestions, possible reviews would be useful. Marko

Exactly, it would be stupid to mod a guitar for first time and take a Gibson Les Paul. Besides that, this is sure better to do than play computer games all summer... Working on your own guitars is good, and short of busting it in half there isn't much you can do to it that can't be fixed. Good luck with it and have fun! rct
brundaddy
Build that thing! You will learn a bunch and the knowledge (if not the guitar) will serve you really well over the years. I wouldn't let any expectations of quality outcome even enter into the decision... it's a learning exercise in wiring and setup, very important know-how. neilpanda
If you do go ahead with it, saw off a bit of the headstock, looks like a rowing paddle.

Of course I will, they don't do that in factory because Telecaster headstock shape is copyright protected and owned by Fender...
