Wildkat vs Casino

Only the 'kat can do both genres well. The Casino is fully hollow and is prone to feedback when cranked. The 'kat, as pictured, is effectively a heavily chambered solid body guitar but with a ply/f-hole top. As such, it's not so prone to feedback.

I did a review on my Wildkat in the Epi Lounge's members reviews thread if you're interested.

What Alan said. I've got an Elitist Casino and a Wildkat, and the Kat is a far more versatile guitar. Alan's review is pretty spot on, so give it a look.

Of the two, I agree; the Wildkat....I don't own one yet, but I know what they are....Awesome fun well built tone monsters..........

P-90s for Jazz ?? Hmmm.....Consider 335s and 339s; mostly for the HBs.....But, yeah, the Wildkat...Only $399.00 !!!!!!!!!!!

To me they are very different guitars -- the only things they really have in common are the scale length and the pickups. P-90's behave very differently on solidbodies, hollowbodies, and semis, though. Maybe more like second or third cousins than sisters.

Acoustically, my Wildkat is somewhat louder than a solidbody, but much less loud than my Casino.
