Have you checked out the Zvex Super Hard On, Xotic EP Booster, Analogman Beano Boost, etc? Looked at them on-line but never heard them in person. Anything I buy is really a shot in the dark. It adds volume, a little gain, and a lot of extra oopmh - even my clean sounds benefits from it. In that sense of boostage my favorite is my smallsound/bigsound **** overdrive.
