Dub-T-123 Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 I can see how they sound pretty much the same to someone who's not obsessed with fuzz but they're VERY different circuits. If you play with each a lot you'll realize they're pretty different, especially with the way they react to your playing and guitar's controls. The Fuzz Face cleans up super clean with your guitar's volume, the Muff doesn't so much. The Muff handles chords with clarity, the Fuzz Face typically gets kinda muddy with bigger chords. The Muff is generally smoother than the FF too It kinda just depends on what you're going for. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
