However, I will bet you anything, that by February the prices will be back up. Its a good time to buy. This is a seasonal blowout where I think Gibson is blowing out most of the guitars that may not have sold as well as they would have liked. Everywhere right now, regarding Gibson Guitars, online the prices are incredibly good. Zzounds, Samash, and even some brick & Mortar. however only on some models. You're not going to find a 355 for half off. Same with Customs. Classic Customs however can be had for an insanely low amount on Samash with the coupon applied. the prices on Midtowns, SGs (almost all models) and many Les Pauls are super low. Go for it while you can, because its going to go back up after the new year. I have a couple models that if i sell, I'm planning not on the market now, but what the long term will bring in. I got mine for $989.98 from ZZounds due to getting a bad Midtowm Standard. And the nice sales guy giving me a few bucks off when I ordered the standard whitch I got for the 989. Hell when I reordered I had seen the custom price had gone to $1099 so I ask the guy if I can get the custom for the same price I paid orginaly. Puts me on hold comes back and tells me yes, plus due to the damaged Standard thingy.... Any way I look at I still got a GREAT GIBSON AX for just under a grand...
