bobv
Pigmalion's custom shop - cool. Don't know if they ship internationally, but a phone conversation with Lindy Fralin is always informative. He'll wind whatever you want for roughly the same price as the other aftermarket pickups. I'd also check with Brian at Marquis Distributing about some Tone Pros bridge/tailpiece parts and Tone Pros Kluson tuners. Honestly, though, the Gotoh aluminum tailpiece is much less expensive. rocketman
Very nice. Please keep us up to date. I remember the day I opened up my Sonex case after not touching for several years. The Texas humidity did a real number on it. I took everything off and cleaned it all up, then I slowly started to put it together including soldering and changing a few parts. In the end I was happy I did it. It was a fun project, which I'm sure yours is too...

If I didn't have my heart set on completing this project I put it back together as it was... classy guitar! Yes they are nice guitars, lightweight, and very good punch from the stock pups. I'd play mine all day long if I was given the opportunity. What do you have in mind for pups in that one???:)

[/quote'] I wanted to put in Symoure Duncan's, Pearly Gates in the bridge and Anico II Pro's in the neck but they don't make those with covers and I do want covers.... Maybe you could do me a favor and take a pic of the electronics compartment in your guitar? My electronics compartment is completely empty. I have the electronics odered and on the way here but I think there has to be some sort of mounting plate installed too... My LP classic has a metal plate that the pots are mounted on with some sort of terminal that contects to the pots too... Maybe a grounding thing but I'm not sure.... If its a pain don't worry about it I'll ask around.... Dave
