Sgt. Pepper replied to SteveFord's topic in The Gibson Lounge
I have never and I mean never seen one where Jimi with an "I" wasn't #1. Its like that other thread, yes we will be discussing The Beatles 50, 75 and 100 years from now. -

We never need these lists. #1 is always, and will always be no matter what: JIMI HENDRIX -

I have a Kitchen Aid mixer for making pizza dough. No nose punch for me. The Sunbeam ones do look cool though. Question do dishes chafe? I get chaffed sometimes from ridding (peddling) my bike, and have to rub some cream on it. -

I might fly to Sweden and punch you in the nose. Zep 1 through Physical Graffiti was insanely good. Presence was okay and Out Door was total poo. -

Clapton's stock took a turn for the worse. He's usually top 5. Not even in the the top 25. Joni Mitchell, in the top 25, according to RS is a better player. #35 for Eric. That was for being a pest during Covid. Tom Morello #18.A guy who makes chain saw noises. At least Adrian Below could make an elephant noise. Richard Thompson #63. Wow of the 62 in front of him on the list may be 5 are in HIS league. Liz Phair and Lou Reed according to RS is better players than Rory Gallagher at #175. That is just not even funny. So Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols is on the list, but I didn't see Allan Holdsworth? WTF -
And old racist orange messiah disciples too

İf you could give Gibson a guitar idea what would it be?
Sgt. Pepper replied to random human's topic in The Gibson Lounge
Sir, I would like you to share your stash, and know what dream world you live in? Pretty soon a 2k guitar is gonna be the cheapest ones you can buy. I remember when J-15's were $950 w/case and sold like nuts, so lets discontinue those. -
Pretty soon all guitars are going to come relic-ed, and we are going to have to pay more for un-relic-ed ones.
-
I think that was the point. She played the dumb blonde to a T.

Come and knock on our door. RIP Thigh Master

Apparently it pulls up a sock puppet.

Rat Rod guys have been doing to for years. I am going to go on record and say right now I want to keep my car, house, guitar, and jeans looking new as the day I got them.

I have Mule on CD. What’s he building in there? Pilipino Pygmy Pot Belly Pig? I think. Think Rog ever had one as a pet?

Any "Amanda Lynn" players on the Gibson forum?
Sgt. Pepper replied to OrdinaryNimda's topic in The Gibson Lounge
One never knows. We got the Tulip Theodore, Mandolins, Gibson now using professionals to relic acoustics, and the new and improved LP Supreme. -
I’m sure Chris Martin who has been around guitar since birth hired drug addicts off the street to relic his guitars. Yeah, I think any of us could relic guitar’s. I’m pretty handy with an ice pick, and a bag full of pennies. Oh, who’s your relic-er? Mine is a professional, and he apprenticed abroad, and at the Ivy League’s best school of guitar de-new-ification.
-
Isn’t all relic-ing fake?

I like British Steel and Point Of Entry. JP mostly all sounds the same to me. Robs voice and twin guitars coming at me. That first live one is a chore to listen to.

Sgt. Pepper replied to SteveFord's topic in The Gibson Lounge
Yeah go see him, you may not get the Quackers story, but there is a good chance Rog will tell you to go F off. And you can hear some re-recorded DSOTM. -
I had shrimp tacos on Tuesday. I put some sour cream on then and it made them supreme.
