  1. That doc was the first stuff I heard from R & L, other than the album they did with The Residents, which I have. Its equally as weird as their stuff. I listened to Songs From Swinging Larvae the next day. I might attempt to listen to Arabic Yodeling.
  2. Watched a doc about Morphine yesterday. Not the drug, the band. I wanted to see them, and was going to get tickets for a show in Berkley then Mark had a heart attack on stage in Italy. They were a killer band. I also watched a concert film called Hard Core Devo. They played only stuff before they album with Whip It. Jocko Homo still makes me laugh. They didn't play Mongaloid. They tell us thatWe lost our tailsEvolving upFrom little snailsI say it's allJust wind in sails
  3. There is no way on Earth Patti puts out a song today called "Rock And Roll _______________ " from the Easter album. If she did, she would be what Generation LBGTQ+-? call cancelled. So Steve how was the endless nonsensical diatribe that flowed poetically form Patti's mouth? I remember watching The Rolling Thunder Revue, and she was in it for about 5 mins for no reason blathering nonsense out of her speaking hole. A pimp slap would have been appropriate at that moment to shut her up. Baby was a black sheep, baby was a whoreBaby got big and baby get bigger
  4. C D was a poo burrito smothered in diarrhea sauce. Just stop you guys, your last century’s news. Who cares about them anymore? Slash needs another LP sig model though. 14 aren’t enough.
  5. They are selling in the mid to high 2000’s on Reverb.
  6. Being a D Bag was/is Rotten/Lydon’s schtick since he stared out as Malcom’s toy. I certainly can irritate people, but I’m not famous or is it infamous? I probably should have been in a band that was a waste of a load and maybe I would be? How did you Brits feel about that Manchester dance, and taking Ex scene in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I like the song I Wanna Be Adored, by the Stone Roses, and that was about it. Never cared for Jesus Jones, Inspiral Carpets, The Happy Mondays, The Charlatans, or Primal Scream.
  7. I believe trying is the key word in the sentence. That was a F A I L .
  8. The guy who introduced my to The Residents worked at Tower Records. At 11:30 pm they would put them on to get people to leave the store.
  9. Axe Pose is a clown. Man I hope the don’t record a whole album for a cash grab. They will.
  10. Watching a doc on a band called Renaldo & The Loaf, are from Portsmouth, England. I think Merc lives there. They recorded one album with the Residents, and they were on the Residents Ralph label. It’s pretty weird stuff.
  11. I think since you now have 200k more ohms to play with you can get a tone that is darker and also brighter at each end of the pot.
  12. Never really cared for them. I remember not being able to escape hearing Sweet Child every half hour. It got old. Paradise City I loathed. They had a few good ones. The double album single album thing was spread to thin. Never saw them and I’m just fine with that.
  13. Watching The Theory Of Obscurity a doc about The Residents. I saw them twice. If you get a chance go. You will never see anything like it ever.
  14. How am I going to cook with my Easy Bake Oven?
  15. Words just to hard type. Me use Emoji it easy. I are Millennial.
  16. I remember a friend playing the song This Is What You Want This Is What You Get in the mid-80. And wondering why he liked it. Lots of band don't fit it. The Residents, Frank Zappa, and Rush as big as they were never really fit anywhere, yet they have/had super loyal fans. If there is a band out there, chances are it clicks with someone.
  17. John is a right pain is the a-ss. He insisted and was addiment that PIL is not a band but a company. Yet throughout the doc he keeps saying the word band instead of company. I don't like their music or see their appeal. It just grates on you. A couple things off Metal Box/Second Edition are not to bad. I think one of my farts sound better than his, and I will use this term loosely, singing.
  18. Yes, rct loves his Cristal. He must have Puff Daddy money. Welcome back. I like just boring old Gulden's Spicy Mustard.
  19. I thought Q was that older lady now that did a lot of British TV? No offence to old ladies.
  20. This happens all the time. Someone comes in asks a question and gone like the wind. The OP made one post. Here is the best answer he is gonna get call 1-800- Gibson. Ask them they built it. See how helpful I am.
  21. Just started The Public Image Us Rotten.
  22. Man I want to go to the UK and see all of it.
  23. It's a Jazzmaster. Jag's are supposed to have 2 Strat like pups with claws that stick out by the side of the pup. I'm not sure if Jag's have the thumb wheel pots? That JM was a pain to wire.
  24. I don't think professors at university's who have to read plagiarized term papers think so.
  25. It could go either way. And he did say the full orchestra sounded absolutely amazing . . . and then the rest of his comment.
