With time on my hands, I have been wanting to learn some new songs. So off to youtube I went. I wanted to learn how to play Lowell George's "willin'". I found this guy, Shane Simpson. He's from Canada. I really like his way of teaching. He is has a ton of vidoes he has made, and he has free tab/music sheets that go along with his songs that you can print. I know there are many great folks out there teaching a lot of stuff. If you know someone you like to visit, please let us know who and where they can be found. It's times like this that I'm glad I am a musician. Music is a big help for me right now. And since I have the time, I will be spending a lot of that time playing, writing, playing, recording, and playing.

That is scary.

Now I hear talk of possibly closing down all the schools for the rest of the school year. WOW! So I may not work again for 5 months. This is really weird

Just returned from the grocery store. There is even less stuff there than when I was there on Saturday. They were out of butter, bread, all kinds of stuff. No paper products at all. I wanted to make some spaghetti tonight. But they have no spaghetti pasta at all! And I just now saw that there are a$$holes on ebay selling rolls of toilet paper for $7 each. They even have 1 square for 99 cents !!!! That should be criminal! This has been a real learning experience for me. I never knew that toilet paper was as important as water. And that people can act so damn nuts when they listen to the talking heads on TV.

My Mom is 83 and lives alone 280 miles away from me. I am very worried about her as well.

Watching one Governor after another on TV announcing closures of just about everything. All restaurants and bars. This really is cRaZy 😜

Let me start by saying I am a public school teacher. And yesterday, before I left school we were all told that the school district was going to be closing all schools for the next 4 weeks. So it looks like I am going to have a whole lot of extra time to play my drums and guitars! I just got back from the grocery store. I like to go early on saturdays to avoid the rush. I was there at 7:30 this morning. Usually there is about 5 people there. This morning the place was packed with people. No toilet paper, no water. Just like the news has been saying. People are just nuts sometimes. How is this covid-19 crap affecting you?

If you look closely on the back of the neck and head stock, it looks like the 2 lines on the back may have been painted over.

The frets are not made of wood, so they can not dry out. You obviously meant the fretboard. You should always do this when you get a new guitar. I remove all stickers from my guitar.

Post the pic of your fingers. And post pics of your fretboard. If it's black where your finger touches the string (as you state) than it would seem to me to be the strings.

They made epiphones with that TRC until a certain date. Then they stopped. That's it. No mystery.
