  1. Only YOU can know if it fits the bill. Try different gauges. See which one you like. That's pretty much how everyone does it. Nobody can tell you what string is best for you. Only your very own fingers.
  2. Dot's are Great!!! Play mine all the time.
  3. I like to golf. Didn't start playing until I was in my late 30's. But for a few years I was really into it. Never did the handicap thing. My lowest score is an 87 on 18 holes. I havn't played in a few years however because I've just been too busy. Golf takes time. My favorite sport to play is basketball. Play regularly and watch for most of my life.
  4. The fret with the two markers would be the 12th fret. Count down from there and you will get 19.
  5. And isn't it great that theses two countries have together ( I gotta throw Australia in there too) created the greatest genre of music there is and ever will be... ROCK & ROLL!
  6. You are entitled to your opinion, but Rock and Roll originated and evolved in the 40's and 50's in America. I think even most British will concede that. Sorry, I just had to get that out.
  7. Congratulations! That looks pretty nice. I have a Yamaha DGX-230 Portable Grand. I bought it about 8 years ago. I still don't really know how to play. It makes all kinds of neat sounds as well. It has loads of sound effects, different instruments, etc. It even has some decent sounding drums. And it sounds great as a piano, organ, etc. I've never taken the time to try and learn much. But I do like messing around with it sometimes. And I have fun! Kind of like my Bass guitars. About the only time I play bass is when I am recording a song and need a bass part. Then I pick up my bass and have at it. Not the best way to learn for sure. Have fun with your new sound machine!

Nice Noodling! Sounds great! Lots of sustain there.
  9. I wonder if his last words were..."Let's Go" ? or perhaps "Bye Bye Love". I saw the Cars in 1979. They were great!!!
  10. He was found in his apartment unresponsive. He was 75. He wrote some good songs! RIP Ric
  11. Hail the Heroes who put there lives on the line for our freedom. Who is braver than these souls? Battle of Britain was full of them. 🇬🇧
  12. He's the best I've ever heard. Happy Birthday Neil!
  13. I watched that video. Sounded pretty good.
  14. Did you borrow RCT's camera? 🙂
  15. I've never heard anyone who added new hardware to a guitar refer to it as "Rebuilt". You didn't really rebuild it. You just modified it. Upgraded it. Nice looking guitar btw!
  16. I saw Rush about 10 years ago and am so glad I did. They were just incredible. Wish I had seen them years before. As a drummer, Neil was one of my major influences. His drumming just blew my mind. And I learned so much from listening to those albums. In my opinion, he is the best drummer, ever. And Alex and Geddy are just incredible also. Happy Birthday Alex. Your music will live with me forever.
  17. Nope. They had a number of top 40 hits. "So Into You" peaked at #7. Champaign Jam was another.
  18. Do you have the volume knob turned all the way down on the neck pickup? if so, you shouldn't.
  19. You get his Woodstock pants too!
  20. I do it with just about every song from the first 3 albums by R.E.M. Love old R.E.M. but never really could understand much of what Mike was singing. Of course I never let that get in the way of me liking their music.
