  1. Thanks Buddy!!! I appreciate that!! Good to hear from you too!! I replied to your email earlier. Talk Soon!!
  2. Hello everyone, it has been a long time since I have been around this forum. I hope all of you are doing well. I do not know where to begin on this other than, I went by guitar center in Nashville to see if they happened to have a particular Ibanez bass. They didn't have one so we, my wife and I, walked around a bit and it was the first time I saw the room set aside for the custom series guitars and amps. It has been a long time since I have been to this particular guitar center and I must say...even though a guitar center store can be hit or miss..this one has got their stuff together....great staff and customer service....and if you go to this store, the guys name who was working inside of the Platinum Room name is Cole. Cole could not have been a more polite and helpful person to deal with. Just a great person.....period. Anyways, I cannot say anything other than.....this guitar sounds and plays BETTER than any other guitar I have owned, better than any other guitar I have played and better than any other Gibson custom guitar I have owned or played. Not gonna go into all of what this thing did to me other than....it was like opening up a door to a part of my life I did not know had existed....almost spiritual......I have no other words to express about it....so I bought it. When I plugged it in....this guitars sound was exactly like Clapton in Cream, The Original Fleetwood Mac when Peter Green was with them along with Billy Gibbon's Brown Sugar. I played it through a couple of Friedman amps....not sure of the models.....but it was more of the guitar than the amp that had the sound as it sounded the same when I got home and plugged it into my own Mesa Boogie. This guitar will definitely be my main squeeze period. Anyways, I hope the pic link works correctly!! 2023 Gibson Custom Shop 1957 M2M Les Paul Standard Reissue Double Gold https://imgur.com/a/NfyRgf6
  3. I have had both. Still have a couple of pedals. I use about 5 pedals when I gig. But I also have a few multi effect things. One in particular I really like is the Headrush MX5. Yeah it has a touch screen but in reality it kicks some butt and sounds fantastic. If you can use a modern smartphone you can figure it out.
  4. When they play Back in Black on the oldies station
  5. Was using protools 9 for years. Got to the point to where I was seeing what the limits of the older tech was compared to the newer DAWs available. Everything is downloaded now, not the old style ilok with hard disk for installation. Went with the new Cubase Artist 12 from sweetwater. Had to get my tech guy to install it for me. Anyway, it is completely different in some ways and easier than other. Has a ton of stuff on it.......I will probably only use like 10% of it when I get going good with it. Any of you use cubase?
  6. They still make it. I have saw it on eBay not long ago.
  7. That reel to reel is awesome!!!! I had one of those one time. Looks like it will do the job too!!!
  8. Some of you may have heard this before but here is one of my tunes.
  9. I have some kind of FL studio but it is a sample type of format. I really do not understand it. I cannot get a regular grid up to record like I am familiar with. I think it is like FL studio 2 or something. It is mind boggling to me and I just cannot wrap my head around it.
  10. Thanks will look into it. Not looked at them much ever.
  11. Very impressive!! Great quality videos too and the audio sounds great. I just subed to your channel. Here is one of mine if you would like to take a listen. https://youtu.be/A4JIWTL6nDQ
  12. Yes the plug ins are what my problem is.....cannot get a decent drum set set up for me. Everything that I like doesn't work on protools. That's why I am looking at cubase currently
  13. The recording room only has crickets chirping in there. So I am gonna post this here instead. Anyone who records at home please chime in. What DAW do you use? I use Protools 9 for the past few years. Am looking for something else.....I am not a big fan of the proprietary vst involved with protools any longer and am looking the branch out into another system. So does anyone use cubase artist by chance here?? If you used to use protools previously and now use another DAW and like it better....please chime in and tell me why. ...is it more user friendly or??? Ok thanks, Tim
  14. Those Clapton fans in the other thread probably do it🤣🤣🤣🤣
  15. Man those chairs just don't get it sometimes you know?? Damn!
  16. My chair has a hard time accepting that I really do not like the subjects it enjoys discussing...current events....politics....movies....I mean...wtf is wrong with furniture these days? But I get along great with my dresser....go figure.
  17. Man...what a thread. Pathetic one at that. People getting killed in car wrecks are blamed for not having a vaccine....lol Yes the unvaccinated are going to die...and guess what...so are the vaccinated.
  18. I do not have a problem with HC because, the mom and pop ships are hardly around where I love anymore. We have one music store and I do support him but buying string and such but, the population here doesn't support the finer guitars and is geared toward beginners. They focus mostly on lessons anyway. So to me checking out GC from time to time isn't a problem.

It is a cool color. Congrats!!
  20. Well I do know they will work with you for sure on price. I bought a brand new 2018 American profession strat from them and they took a nice discount off price on it. I called in advanced and asked what they had and then said I will be there in a couple of hours. When I asked what the best price I could get it for out the door, it came to 1354.00 tax in. It was listed at 1499.99 I bought it.
  21. Yeah still trying to create things....sometimes it is tough!! Hope all is well!!
  22. Thanks everyone. I used a variety of different set ups. From DI into the interface with a boss GT-001 desktop processor, custom pedal boards with a Richie Kotzen fly rig at the end of a pedal chain to a 100 watt Carvin tube amp. Now for the most part I am preferring the boss gt unit.
