    Fripp is one of those geniuses that are as rare as hens teeth, innovative, creative influential, He is all of that, but much much more, He has stayed true to his own vision, uncompromising fluidity, always seeking the next level, but that level isn’t defined by producers or the record labels, in that way, I place him in the rarefied atmospheric realm of Coltrane, Miles Davis, Monk.Musicians who defined their music but were never defined or restricted by it.

    I heard the same thing, the other members of the Stones had pretty much had it with his bs. Charlie Watts in particular was feed up with him.

    I just like Morrisons voice, never really wanted to psychoanalysis him. He was a rock n roller who made some good music and died young. That list is long.

    You are a dam good singer/writer, do not stop chasing your dream, let it flow thru you. Your songs touch other people, that is a rare blessing. Pour yourself into it, don't let anything get in the way of your writing, your vision of what the song should sound like, how you hear it in your head.

    Believe in yourself, trust yourself, don't let critics or suggestions plan...

    I drink two cups of coffee each morning, never any caffine after noon....and I still have a heck of a time sleeping...

    Sounds like somebody needs a nap.....just kidding.... I have dealt with insomnia for decades and have as you may remember I have also been dealing with tinnitus for many years, sounds like a bee hive in my left ear which is one factor in my insomnia. I have a scripts to help but sometimes they just are worthless and though I occasionally joke about alcohol, other then a few sips from my wife's margaritas I never drink (I do like B-52's but only have a few around Christmas and New Years) and I do not smoke anything. I go in spells, sometimes I will go for weeks on three or four hours of sleep each day...getting old ain't for sissy's..
