Fun hollowbody Fran. I listed my Sheraton for sale, and sold it... to my son, so its still in my rack. This is the Acoustic section of the forum, you'll find some good folks here. Song written by a very talented friend of mine. Wouldn't you know it, tuned down half a step and its still just a tad out of my range. Still trying to get the sound on my Q3HD camera to settle down - it will take me at least a few more trys to get 'er dialed in.

Some good pickin' in there ! I'm not much of a sound engineer / recording guy, but is there room to back down the gain a bit? Clipping and distortion.

Wickepedia would gree with you: "The shells of abalones have a low and open spiral structure, and are characterized by several open respiratory pores in a row near the shell's outer edge. The thick inner layer of the shell is composed of nacre or mother-of-pearl, which in many species is highly iridescent, giving rise to a range of strong and changeable colors, which make the shells attractive to humans as decorative objects, and as a source of colorful mother-of-pearl." It sure looks good on guitars! -

Most excellent ! Love the style, and all the instruments, wow, I would never have the patience, metter of fact I don't even have the patience to figure out Garage Band. I have a soft voice - and find that the microphone needs to have a giant amount of sensitivity for me to sound good. I have no idea what a snowball microphone is, but I think you'd have fun with a large diaphragm condenser mic.

Just ordered a Custom Shop Southern Jumbo thru Paul at Music Villa. Advanced "X" Bracing,Red Spruce Top, Luthier's Choice neck, MOP Gibson logo on the headstock with No Crown, small 30's burst - forgot to ask/confirm with him, all the scalloping is pretty standard, right? Hate to think I just ordered a guitar with no scalloped braces.
