  1. I'd like to add. Also, the truss rod adjustment IS NOT for trying to get your strings closer (overall action) to the fretboard. I cracked the neck on my very first brand new acoustic guitar by trying to tighten the truss rod to bring the strings down (like the picture showed with the instructions for neck relief). I had paid 3 months for that guitar on lay away. Needless to say, that ruined ( mildly saying ) my whole day and a few more.
  2. Another thing, if that kid (criminal) would have inadvertenly gotten killed by police or a bystander for protecting the drummer, the criminal would be lauded as some hero because he lost his life by invoking the situation in the first place? Why? Those are consequences of accepting responsibility of their own actions.
  3. I was told the trapeze tail piece was called a "Floating Bridge". I had one on an F hole Gibson and didn't care much for it. Terminology is evidently different where you go.
  4. Just out of curiosity, any idea why there is finish checking on the back of the headstock and not on other parts of the guitar?
  5. I take the "Bird in Hand" as is. I think it's more better.
  6. Depends on how hard you listen.
  7. Being retired as well, my plan is to drink coffee and play it by ear.
  8. Believe it or not, I was one! Never had a need for whatever a image hosting site was. I always wondered what the big deal about posting pics here was such a big deal with only hundreds of threads about it, and I figured out how to, then realized the kBs were descending and to discover what I thought was no problem, that I was actually a dying duck in a hail storm! Then yall came to the rescue and I had to learn real quick! I see what Tman did, so I'll try that when the time comes. I was glad I at least got the horse to water and I'd figure out how to make him drink later. Thanks to all once again!
  9. https://i.imgur.com/iOPvGX1.jpeg Thanks! I think I finally figured it out.
  10. Thanks! I think that's the answer, after I got to thinking about that. The max size I've noticed after posting only the written thread shows no kB usage.
  11. I have noticed something when I sign in, is Facebook and Twitter and says it's quicker to sign in on. I don't do either of those. I'm wondering if they're transitioning again to where you have to go through one of them to get to this forum.? Also I can downsize photos/edit etc all the way to 40 kbs well under the max. But I guess is that right now, the maximum total size of this thread I'm typing they are allowing is only 29.88 kB. Anything beyond that limit, it won't take it. Thanks for the replies, hopefully a moderator or administrator will reply. Thx again.
  12. I've noticed the maximum number of kilobytes for me has declined from 179kb and is now 29.88 kb max. Can someone explain. I emailed administrators earlier today and no reply. It appears I won't be able to post or anything and don't understand what's happening and can't find any info in the rules etc...
  13. I was having to figure out how to use the strap with the LR Baggs jack. The punch is perfect size for the schaller shank. That's the music nomad extension.
  14. This may help someone. This is a walker&williams strap w/ schaller strap locks. I used a 3/8 hollow steel punch.
  15. Murph, is your phone ringing off the hook to do something with that song? Man That was excellent! The photos fit perfect. Im in 110% agreement that's better than all that crap they call music on the radio/tv nowdays. 👏👏👏👏👏
  16. Thanks again. Sorry KB I misread your Jr. Amp. All well ends well, I went a head and brought home the same Fender Acoustic 100 Jr. (No GO). They let me use a J165CE (VTC) rosewood to try the amp out in the store. Nothing Jr. about this amp! WOW! It also has a built in kickstand on the bottom.
  17. Hey guys, thanks for the input. I pulled the trigger on that amp Monday afternoon (2/13/23) and brought it home. I plugged my bird (LR BAGGS VTC) in and it sounded crystal clear, quiet etc... in all aspects. One little snag, it has way too much low end for my liking. I have spent hours trying to find the right combinations to unlock that low end but to no avail ! The low end I refer to is the E and A bass strings, mainly the E. I have read a few people have commented on the very same issue about the low end. One guy in particular had a Gibson J45 (VTC). Sadly, it's going back to the music store today. I'm gonna give the Fender's new line Acoustic 100 Jr. (Not the GO that Kidblast has) it's the standard plug in a try (same as KB but no rechargeable battery). Agin thanks for the input!
  18. Anyone have any user hands on with the Fender acoustic 100 amp? Thanks!
  19. There may be more nitro on my bird, don't know, but last year I've had the first 5 frets replaced.
  20. Not to sure about how to add photos, I had to resize from original down to 20%. It shows you can't have more than like 172.83 kb total on a tread which apparently includes the pics.
  21. Not much here. 2013 play 2 to 3 hrs a day. Top side 2nd, just nitro worn off. And 1st is bottom side.
  22. Appears someone put a Hummingbird truss rod cover on a J45 to drive the price up for someone who wouldn't know what they're looking at. Personally I would not buy it from whoever did that.
