Homz
Schlitz is back! WooHoo chemical beer. That's what we used to call it. I really don't know why. I always assumed it was due to some chemicals in the brewing process. Really nasty shi* coming back up.
Californiaman
If I'm drinking malt liquor, I'm drinking Micky's Big Mouth in the little green keg. Hell it I'm drinking malt liquor: A) My favorite store is out of Firestone Walker :) ...out of Sierra Nevada C) I'm pretty drunk already
grampa
I'm a big fan of "micro brews", those small batch beers with all kinds of different flavors. We are blessed in Sacramento to have a bunch of them in the area and in No. Cal there are many. It's a great time and place to be a beer lover. SRV-Zeppelin
Canadian stuff is the best, hands down. No offense, but on the flavour scale, most American beers get beat out by water, eh.

surfpup
Or something by Sierra Nevada or Magic Hat or Rogue or New Belgium (Fat Tire Ale! Yum!)... the list could go on a long time. There is a lot of great American beer being brewed.

KSG_Standard
I've never met a beer that I couldn't like... Fat Tire rocks! If you haven't ever tried one, try a Chimay, it's very tastey.
Californiaman
No Canadian beer will ever satisfy like Firestone Walker Pale Ale. Only six medals at the GABF. That's the Great American Beer Festival. Three more medals at the European Beer Star Awards. Gawd I Love Beer.
J45dale
I drank a lot of Schlitz beer back in my teenager days. It tasted a lot better with a lot of salt, and a pilsner glass helped it go down faster. Also a lot of Falstaff and Carlin Black Label, and Country Club Malt liquor. I finally stepped up to Pabst Blue Ribbon fir a touch of class. " spending Christmas in a beer joint" a good tune on Red state update. A understanding soul, Dale. Homz
I like the imports at times. Had some Heineken's last weekend. Frank (drummer) nearly got stabbed with a one of his sticks when he tried to take one.
Murph
The story goes like this. It was good. Then they kept changing it. I was too young to remember when it was good. Then it was gone. I only had time to drink 1, the other night. In a hurry. I WILL do more research. I guess this is the beer thread. Murph.
Californiaman
I will extol the virtues of Pale 31, Union Jack and Double Barrel Ales from Firestone Walker Brewery right here on the central coast of California.
