[ Sticky ] How to post photos

Recommended Posts

Many thanks theLiveSoundGuy and GuitarJunkie. My Black Knight pics are now posted elsewhere in all of their funky glory! Just one here for fun. Big enough?

I don't have (or want) an account with a photo-hosting service...

I use imgur.com to upload the odd photo. Once it's uploaded to them, you just copy and paste the address provided and presto - your pics are on the forum.

It's free, requires no registration, and works great.

To post an image, it must be on a web server connected to the internet. This is not the same as being on your local computer. In other words, you may need to sign up / get a host for a web page site before you post images. Or perhaps, you already have a online photo album that will allow 'remote' links to the images. In any case, be a good netizen = Use space and bandwidth that you have been supplied

On another forum i use, i am able to upload photos from my hard drive under 2 mb. I have a 500k limt here. So if i have multiple posts with photos what happens to the other posts pix if i delete them from manage attachments? are the other posts shagged? Do i NEED photobucket to make multiple posts with pix on Gibson?
