Thundergod Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Hey man, I've noticed firebirds have a different tuning system, how does it work? do you happen to have any pics that show those tuners closely? I am having so many GAS related nightmares with firebirds... too bad nobody sells them here... (the gibson retailer only sells standard LPs and below, and standard SGs and below). AXE® Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 They're the old banjo style tuner, and have a lower ratio than the Kluson and Grovers. And point straight through the headstock.
